Confirmed (CNF)
CNF means your berth is confirmed. The coach and berth number are allotted at chart preparation if they are not already shown.
How CNF works
- A status like CNF/S4/19/UB means coach S4, berth 19, upper berth. If it just says CNF, the coach and berth are assigned when the chart is prepared.
- A confirmed berth can still change coach or berth number at charting, which is normal and not a problem with the booking.
What to do about it
Nothing to do. Check the coach and berth once the chart is out so you board the right coach.
